Holly Jackson is officially my favorite author! I've read TGGGTM series as well as Five survive and have loved every single book! Her characters are relatable and draw you in. Seeing pip develop and unravel and ravel back together throughout the whole series...that tore me. That hurt me. That broke me and put me all back together again just as the character herself evolved. That's how you know a story is well written!

This is my second book I've read of hers. I hated the first one, The Cabin.
This one was actually really well written and I loved every moment and character...
All the way till the end. Yet again, it left me wanting more and felt rushed. I will not be reading another one of her books. I've given her two tries. I don't want to waste my time on a third.

Ehhh it was an okay movie. I wish we were given more on the origins and how it exactly affected the human brain. And also, the ending was so obvious right from the beginning. Too in your face, and it was aggravating it took the main characters so long to realize.

The main character isn't giving main characterish vibes, it was all over the place, the ending was blah and the twist they tried to pull was blah and the Clift hanger they tried to throw in at the end was unnecessary. It just left me feeling like I wasted my time. It didn't give me the same feeling that other thriller/murder/mystery books gave me. Fell short.

I really enjoyed it and the actors playing Peter and Blackbeard were amazing! I wish we could see more backstory of how Hook and Peter became enemies...like the ultimate betrayal of how Hook came to hate Peter, but sadly we were not given that. Still amazing.
