Being a longtime Seinfeld fan and with a lineup of comedians that includes lots of gems, I really wanted to like this movie but it didn’t hit any of the right notes. Is it a kid movie meant for grown-ups or a grown-up movie meant for kids or a movie that had no idea “What was I made for?” It’s the latter but not in the complex way that the Barbie movie explored but in the most simplistic, “Huh??” manner possible. Watch the trailer, you’ll save yourself a lot of time, satisfy your curiosity and walk away with the same amount of content and entertainment value. Two stars because there are some clever & funny moments but not nearly enough. No one can hit homers every time and sometimes no matter how hard one swings ya strike out.
