I got myself Apple TV "free trial" to watch the Foundation series (meh), and instead found myself binge-watching Murderbot. Very cleverly written and well-acted throughout. Can't think of a funnier TV show currently running. In some respects it has "The Boys" mix of hilarity and gravity (and gore), but is not nearly as dark as that series, though it explores many of the same questions: what does it mean to be human? How far will the "AI revolution" go? Are corporations really going to take over? Will get Apple TV again once Season 2 comes out! ;D

Loved the show. Decided to watch when I saw Brian Tyree Henry from "Atlanta" was one of the leads, didn't realize Wagner Moura was the other until well into episode 1. The whole cast shines, including the minor supporting characters. The story starts down-beat and gets real dark real fast, though I think the conclusion really takes that a bit too far, including in the believability department. Still, hope for Season 2, lots of loose ends to tie up.
