I’d say it’s fine if you don’t care about Star Wars, but even if you go off the assumption that the writers don’t know anything about the vast galaxy, you would also have to assume the writers don’t know anything about writing. Plot holes, inconsistencies, tone deafness, and a lack of loyalty to the fan base are evident throughout the entirety of the series. Props to some of the actors for making amazing scenes come to life, but they all pale in comparison to poor writing, odd effects, and misused abilities, settings, and characters.
