Finally a Disney Star Wars spin off series worth watching. Mandalorian, Boba Fett, even Kenobi, all lack good writing, dialog and acting. Kenobi at least tried but got bogged down in pretense and lacked direction with all the side stories and ambitions.
So Andor although not like Star Wars in a sense, it was very gritty and sequential. Easy to understand, and only one flashback story to provide motivation for Andor to fight the power and join the rebellion.
I did not research who wrote what series for the others, but this team got it right. Even the droids or weird aliens didn't upstage the humans and the human element, that we as humans all watch Star Wars for. K-2SO is the best Droid ever. He is in Rogue One. Yes even better than C3PO. Because K-2SO acts the most human! He was Han Solo in droid form.
I certainly hope for more episodes of Andor, as the story could be captivating as Andor learns skills. He certainly isn't ready to pull off a Rogue One type mission yet after he leaves to join the Rebellion. I would also like to see what happens to the officer who created such a failed warrent /arrest attempt when he was told to ignore the murders as not to attract imperial attention.
Again good writing, and human motivations. Even the romantic part was handled nicely. Bix was scared and keeping an eye on her boss at the same time. Good double agent work. Boss acted like a jealous man as well.
Again good writing all around. And no stupid droid sounds and gags. Even the Bee Droid had a stutter and required more power to lie. Human characteristics that were interesting but not over the top. (Although Roger Roger droids of Star Wars 1 were fun too and they were indeed over the top.)
