The coronavirus pandemic has forced me to become a nomad of sorts, though less liberating than confining in the sense that my travels are limited to wandering from room to room. Nomadland is my life writ small.

I am a 79 year old man. I went to a late night showing oh The Boogeyman. I could hear members of the audience laugh and say things such as, “Look at that old man. What in the (expletive deleted) is he doing here?” I started to yell obscenities and make crude gestures in their direction but didn’t because I thought to myself, “You know what? They have a point.”
