It's strange, when you make a micro-budget film such as Lair and put it out into the world you can never be sure of how people will react.
We made a fun little film that many festivals and people liked and enjoyed. Is it the greatest film ever? Nope. Could it be better? Yes.
But when a studio spends tens of millions on a film, and that film is compared to ours, which costs thousands, we did a good job.
I can live with someone who has never directed a film and has no idea what it takes to direct a film saying they don't like my directing, that's fine --, but to the person who said the lead, Corey Johnson, couldn't act, that is just flat out wrong; Corey is great at what he does - in my humble opinion.
Thanks for reading this, and I hope you make your own mind up about our film, Lair.
