Review: The Outsider (2020) – Great Concept, Flawed Execution.
The Outsider (2020) had the potential to be an exceptional horror-thriller with its intriguing concept and Stephen King’s backing. The story mixes crime, suspense, and the supernatural, and while the premise is strong, the execution feels lacking at times. The series starts slow, which could have worked if the pacing picked up more effectively, but it drags in parts, causing the tension to fizzle out before it really hits home.
Despite this, the show still delivers some compelling moments and strong performances from the cast. The eerie atmosphere is gripping, but it never fully capitalizes on its potential. Overall, while it's a good watch with an interesting story, it falls just short of greatness. I'd give ★★★★☆
