I think the last scene in this movie is so powerful, poignant and bittersweet because it shows the end of an era, andthe beginning of a new one. You’re left wondering if he can let go. It was one of the biggest changes in culture this country ever saw.

I saw this movie when it came out , and I thought it was one of the sweetest love stories. I thought it was done very well, the scenery was beautiful and Elton John’s soundtrack was perfect.
