Look, I get it, Sci Fi nerds are picky people but, I come from a time 70s 80s when anything Sci Fi was gold. There is no need to pull apart every movie you see, enjoy it for what it is, two hours of escapism. Nobody cares if it's this that or the other thing, every Sci Fi movie I have ever watched has been exciting and entertaining, isn't that all that matters? Tread carefully so that film makers don't dismiss Science Fiction forever, you can be too critical to the point where they won't bother making it. You can't please everyone so treat it like it is, a bit of fun in our mundane lives.

What the hell is with all the slow motion, good grief. It would be a much shorter film without it. It takes away from the story and ruins the film, almost as much as the pitifully poor Northern Irish accent. I am Northern Irish and if I spoke like that I'd hide away somewhere in shame. I waited and wanted for this film to be great but both of these issues totally ruin it. Bad, don't bother with sequels. By the way the plot is like Bugs Life in space.
