A masterpiece. When Naughty Dog released Last of Us Part 1 they pushed the boundaries of what people thought gaming could accomplish. Now they have done it again. This game is deeply human, with complex symbolism, beautiful imagry, and perfectly written characters. I have never played a game that made me both laugh and cry the way Last of Us Part 2 does. It was not the story I wanted, it was not the story i needed, it was a story of legendary team commenting on the cycle of violence, the power of revenge, and the insidious nature of trauma. This game is not for the weak of heart but if you can manage to complete it, it will leave you a different person than before.
