This movie is wonderful. It brings a lot of color and playfulness to the animated version compared to the Novel. I can’t believe the amount of people saying this movie is pushing an lgbt agenda however if you look at Disney movies like Little Mermaid there is also a kiss scene that no one is trying to remove right? Idk I feel like people are portraying a simple peck in a children’s movie as monstrous. When this happens on every single princess movie. However as soon as it’s the same sex “it’s wrong and needs to be “PG-13”. It’s bizarre. Your kids are children. They aren’t sexualizing it, you are. At the end of the day if we can show a woman and man kiss on a children’s movie with a peck, what is the difference between same sex? It makes 0 sense. Also if your kids never knew same sex couples exist, I worry on what type of sheltering you are doing to your children and for all you know your own child might be curious. It doesn’t make it a bad thing but instead gives your child an opportunity to know they are not wrong for being possibly away from the norm.
