This movie was amazing. Easily my favorite Disney live action movie so far. The cast was brilliant and Halle's voice brought tears to my eyes. She is a very talented actress who played Ariel flawlessly, even when the character wasn't able to speak. I really appreciated the diversity of the cast and I think this further enhanced the message of the story. I also think the representation is so important. People of color have historically been underrepresented when it comes to positive roles and I think it's very meaningful for all girls to be able to see themselves as princesses. I also thought the CGI was well done. The scenes looked beautiful and very realistic.
