A black and white thriller that is dated in all ways: clothing, hairstyles, reactions to extra large insects and of course the lack of technology allows the movie at least one full watching. One can be mildly scared in a big way without seeing slashing, ripping, or any other gruesome methods used in horror for removing human specimens from this planet.

Not remembering too much of season 5 when I would of been old enough to even watch let alone understand, my review is mostly from re-run viewing. The essence of the show is humorous supernatural themes involving characters who possess amusing skills that outdo most typical "humans or mortals" as the shows leading lady or should I dare say 🧙‍♀️ should or could or even would, demonstrate. It is light hearted using some unbelievable things to both educate if not completely entertain. For it's reign and time in sitcom history, this show is pretty good even if corny is some if it's story fodder!

I enjoy this sleuthing series because it's set not in present day Toronto but decades earlier. The stories each week capture life's emotional and psychological setbacks serving as fodder for great entertainment and drama. The actors all have their shining moments but my fave character is Julia. For a good dose of detective work and lots of historical literary influence, this pleases on all levels of superior programming. Yey Ovation network for carrying it. Looking forward to season 18.

In 1959 color replaced black and white in the film industry, the latter might have allowed me to give a higher rating than just 3 stars. Yet if you want little slash, no burnt guy trying to kill you in your dreams or be a night creatures feast-- thus horror flick serves the creepy side of curses and ancient rituals. A movie that is fair for this time of year.

A little dated but done well in the demonstration of citizen sleuthing skills. You get the chance to play detective maybe even before Aurora solves it. Candace plays this character emotionally and with much determination to show real interest to help crime get stopped, or at least lessened.

I believe Selma Hayek nailed this character's story that was both sad and triumphant. One of the better movies out there that really demonstrates hope and perseverance go hand in hand even if an accident leaves you impaired to ever touch or feel the same ever again... A really good movie with a great actress!

We are one and as "freeing the trident" became a great story the movie was fantastic. In addition to the plethora of visual imagery used to detail that journey, the cast did a great job storytelling about the lost city of Atlantis. The one "true king" or queen is really inside all of us despite a ruling force between good and evil. Allegiance has consequences but emotions like love are the truest test of our loyalty and we should all remember we are one!
