I know this game isn't perfect by any means, but it's a callback to old school survival horror. It has technical issues and you can cheat some of the encounters if you know an exploit, but I still enjoyed my two runs with it. I've played much worse games in my day. A little more polish could've made this game way more than it ended up, but it definitely has a place in my heart and I respect what the developers tried to make here. It is definitely worth a go to me, but maybe wait until it's below $10.

It's performance on ps4 is abysmal, the difficulty spikes are ridiculous to the point of being unfair for the sake of being unfair. I beat the first game with no continues and then gave up as it's not fun. If you're looking for something like this, but way better, check out Gunlord X.

They don't make too many fun games these days, especially in the run and gun genre. The music is reminiscent of the SNES era for me. It's like a mash up of Ninja Warriors and MegaMan X for me, though that main base track makes me think of Turtles in Time. Gameplay is more like Metal Slug meets MegaMan X. It's got a good challenge, but it's fun and lighthearted in dialogue. We need more titles like this on the PS4.
