This used to be a game franchise that meant something to players. For the lovers of football/soccer, the rules were set and we played against one another in a fair game. EA sports decided to change that into a game that favors one or another depending on whatever choice it makes. It became an unfair game that lost all sense of enjoyment. One moment the game works as expected and the next EA has decided that you no longer know how to play the game and your opponent is the predefined winner. A truly bafflingly horrible game. I hate to be a nostalgia merchant but I’ve played this game since FIFA 2006 and I am sure without a doubt that this is the most horrible version of the game to date. Just makes no sense. Nobody buys a ping pong table that moves in the middle of the game to favor one player over the other. Why should I buy a game that pretends to be fair but favors one player or the other as it decides?
