The Moment of Truth

Unfortunately, one star. The movie drags for over 2 hours for no reason whatsoever, while it could easily be compacted in 30 minutes. It is NOT a horror movie, if you think/thought so, they you will be very surprised. It can be categorised at most as an eerie Sci-fi film. It has too many unrelated, unconnected plots such as the chimpanzee story of Ricky "Jupe" Park. Daniel Kaluuya‘s acting is very dull and it feels like he is forced to play in this movie. The whole alien terrorising small town concept would of been good if explored properly, but we never realistically learn why the UFO does what it does, nor why after so many people are killed, there’s no state or federal reaction to what goes on. The alien ship comes out of nowhere, claims its victims, and… the live goes on, until it finds its own demise when it consumes a giant floating balloon cowboy. 🤦‍♂️ Too many ideas at the same time.
