It’s completely reliant on nostalgia and off screen story telling. The story is just a convoluted plot jammed in with damage control because of The Last Jedi. ***spoiler The idea that force ghosts can interact with object in the world through the force is infuriating. If Luke,Yoda,and Obi Wan could use the Force to help the resistance why wouldn’t they. Furthermore, (besides in the Mandolorian) how can the force heal people let alone bring them back to life. Don’t you think this would have been very useful during Order Sixty-Sixty, or the battle for the Death Star. Finally, why does the movie insist on forcing the idea of that the force is genetic. As Ryan Johnson made clear, it doesn’t matter who you are you can still be force sensitive. Just for them to retcon that and have her related to Palpatine. This movie is jumbled up with a lot of plot holes and damage control which personally ruined it for me.
