This film is insanely great on every level, and the performances are stellar. To label it a “bio pic” is to limit its scope—it’s so much more, which you’ll see for yourself. Mr. Cooper brings exquisite, dynamic energy to every frame, I literally felt present in real-time. I am not easily amused and rarely sit through entire films. Neither Spielberg nor Scorsese could have done a better job directing. Whether you love music or not, this is one for the ages.

"Maid," is BY FAR, the very best show depicting the true nature of domestic violence, EMOTIONAL TRAUMA, and of course, the resultant serious illness of PTSD. I have been covering all of the above as a journalist for 20 years. Nothing else comes close to this gritty, beautifully executed, brilliantly written drama on this vitally important subject. Dead-on performances by ALL. ...I kept asking myself, is that really Andy McDowell? Incredible. Can't say how sad I am that this show was not re-newed for a second season. A huge loss on multiple levels.
