If you can suspend belief in reality about the main character in this film, you might enjoy this action movie. Everything is a little bit TOO scripted and perfect. The lead character can outrun bullets, almost never be hit by an opponent during a fight, and is basically untouchable by anyone who goes up against him. I wouldn't waste my time watching this if I were you. A piece of fluff that's predictable on many levels with wooden acting and a lackluster script.

Off-kilter, and definitely not everybody's cup of tea, (a big heads up to the crowd that likes and can only understand action/adventure movies) Poor Things is an adventure from the start. If you like your movies 'plain' with little or no creativity, this film isn't for you. Entertaining, a visual delight, and jaw-dropping if only from the standpoint of Emma Stone completely immersing herself in the lead character, I found it to be like no other movie I've ever seen. Definitely not boring or predictable!

I look forward to and totally enjoy when an entertaining and intelligent movie crosses my path in life. The Holdovers is just such a film. Excellent script. Superb acting. And a wonderful tale of perseverance for several people looking for answers in their lives. Highly recommended!

Subtly yet strongly highlighted are the skills of the director Alfred Hitchcock and the main character played by Jimmy Stewart. The marriage of their separate skills, plus a well chosen cast of co-stars along with a dynamic script make this film a must watch.

Extremely dark and negative psychotic tale that isn't what you want to watch if you're hoping to be cheered up in any way.
