I loved this movie. I remember watching it when it released on Shudder, 6 months into the pandemic, a one location movie where people are all stuck together in a house without much to do. It felt like an extension of reality at that point.
I was amazed at what they were able to do with minimal effects, one set, and three amazing actors exploring the joy of horror even when "it's really about gender politics."
Little meta nods, fourth wall breaks, and little glimpses of the stories they tell build a little magical realism world in the cabin that comes crashing down with a deadly serious ending. So... stop reading. Go watch it. It's good.
