I loved this game. I played the entire game. I had no issues as others have posted. The combat is fast, fun and can be challenging (depending on your settings). The accessibility and difficulty settings are very generous. Any level gamer can play this.
I have read many of the reviews and comments that denigrate this game. A lot say that it is "woke". Is having a woman protagonist woke? What about Lara Croft, Samus or Aloy? Perhaps it is because she is black? There is nothing else in this game that would trigger someone to say it is woke. This is a game about strong women. The protagonist and the antagonists are all women. Is that a problem?
This is a great game. It is fun, the exploration is fun, the combat is fun, it is not poorly optimized (according to my benchmark), the story is compelling, the voice acting is good, the characters do not look dead in the eyes (according to reviews), and the map is not empty.
I hate to say it but I believe there was a lot of bias of the reviews I have seen and read. Even from so called reputable reviewers, and a lot of untruths. What happened to truth in journalism?
