Ok- yes, I agree this isn’t the best movie in the world. Let’s go over what it really took to make this movie though shall we? And maybe it’ll change your mind. 1-It took at least 8 years until we finally got a movie and everyone has been waiting for this. 2-Everyone is saying “it wasn’t that scary…” well it wasn’t really supposed to be. Fnaf is targeted towards gen Z generation and most grew up on it. The first fnaf wasn’t that scary but progressed in scariness as the games continued. They needed the show to be rated pg-13 so the younger fans were still able to see it. 3-“It didn’t have much of the lure in it. I was disappointed that it didn’t follow the storyline and Michal wasn’t Michal afton.” This one is agreeable, but you have to look at it this way. Some people still wanted to see the movie but weren’t necessarily fans of fnaf. This means, they weren’t specifically trying to please fnaf fans, but trying to include everyone. Yes, they followed their own storyline. You’d need a series to explain the whole lore, and it would be a jumbled mess. Can’t please just one crowd of people. 4-They are planning on making at least 3 movies. Nothing yet is confirmed but they wanted to release this to see how it goes. All of these make the movie very enjoyable even if it wasn’t exactly like the games. Bffr to the ppl mad, we weren’t expecting it to be exactly like the games and if you were, your crazy. This made it so people who don’t understand the lore, would understand the movie. All these factors made it a 5 out of 5 for me. If you don’t like to be super scared or are younger, I recommend this. It isn’t very gory, but has an amazing storyline. Can’t wait for the next one!
