This is such a sweet movie that will always hold a special place in my heart and has for decades. It's based on a true story and I feel that the story was told very well through this movie. It tells the story of a family who struggles to get by but still manages to make things work no matter what. It also tells of the mother who put in so much even after the father died, she did so much she was even awarded the woman of the year award. The story was told in a good flowing way, and the actors and actresses played their parts so well. Its lighthearted but beautifully told. I would definitely recommend this as a movie to sit and relax too, and enjoy a good story that's easy to follow. It's a very well made old movie that I think is a bit underappreciated, cause its definitely a fun watch with the family.
