I've seen a lot of people call this show generic and uninspired but despite it's first appearances i found myself drawn in to this world that overall seems to have a light layer over a dark core. Each episode keeps me coming back, and outside of the pretentious folk who love their own farts and won't give something five stars unless it's a cult classic beloved by only rick and morty fans, the general reception that I've seen from people has been positive and some of the directing tricks utilized have been used to great effect. TLDR While it's hardly a masterpiece it sure as hell deserves more attention than it's currently getting.
