This series is tailored to suit those who fancy serious Sageuk dramas. Epic beginning and an end which concludes so well and calmly, for all the wars and sword fights that it carries on, that you get goosebumps. For those who do not know the real history of Joseon, the story line would be a bit difficult to follow, so I suggest reading Wikipedia a bit during the first couple of episodes. Spoiler Alert: No sweet boy actors nor cheesy love stories to entertain with.
