I wish the mindset “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” was the mindset for making this game. The charm, the ruthlessness, all the mayhem the two previous games had was stripped away from this game. Another key thing that made me love the first two was single player. I played Mario games cause I could play alone and have a fun little adventure with the lovable group of characters in the Mario world. This game completely misused single player so that it enhances your multiplayer experience.
