The story starts off well and then goes on way longer than is necessary. Many bits that make up the characters keep getting switched around and don’t make sense. Implausible scenarios like the whole family being poisoned but they are all able to survive because somehow the mother just happened to have the antidote in the fridge. The white neighbor characters are introduced early on but don’t become significant in the story line. It was confusing.
