This is just another show in the wrappings of Star Wars. It should be an event and now it’s just another show and a bad one at that. A lot of the characters looks like Star Trek and there’s nothing that sets it apart. The plot is derivative and a lot of it makes no sense. It’s literally taking plot points of what came before and rehashing them in different ways. There’s nothing really new. They fan-baited before it started. They advertised a character they killed in the first ten minutes. They attacked and were derogatory to the fanbase that supported the franchise for decades. There’s no cultural impact anymore and there’s not attempt to heal the fanbase. It’s going down a path I won’t follow anymore. They’ve made it abundantly clear it’s not made for me and after this show it’s evident they’ve fallen so far from what it was it should be.
