A star is born feels like a remake, that movie of Hollywood over-indulgence and struggles of addiction and stardom, its only sway seems to be Bradley Cooper' s directorial debut and Lady Gaga at centrestage.
Good singers ain't necessarily good actors, and Lady Gaga joins the likes of Jlo on that list. And while it is a commendable debut for Bradley Cooper on the director's seat, he isn't exactly original, and the story seems all over the place, the movie is too long for a story that could've been told in an hour, and isn't exceptional visually.
