Platitudinous. Long-winded, and the slowness doesn't make the impact it's probably supposed to. Music was good. Acting was good. Chief drawback is that everything about the movie portends "classic" until you watch it and find yourself bored, which is the director's doing. Overall, not too good.

I bought The Betrayal before there were no more copies to buy. For how absolutely thorough the investigation was, I was very disappointed by their ultimate conclusion as to who the betrayer was, as it involved numerous and unfounded assumptions. I felt very much disturbed by this. I'm glad the publisher pulled future printing of this book. It's not worth reading.
