This remake is the standard to which all future remakes will be held to. Not only did Motivé find a way to balance keeping all that was loved, and putting enough new in that even the most hardcore of fans would be surprised, but they also broke all convention and invented thier own means of going above and beyond the call of developer duty. If you've been longing for a good story, with unique and enriched combat (truly at that), and insane degrees of replayability, then oh boy, is this game for you. All content fits, all additions and alterations do nothing but make what was once overlooked, at the forefront. I can't applaud Motive enough. Their passion and love for this game, even the genre are so clear. Get this game, you will not regret it. I promise.

I absolutely love the dead space series, and of those each one has its strengths (in the case of DS3 its mainly weaknesses) but the second is my absolute favorite to play. Its story is amazing, mechanics all improved, and has such a high replay value. I recommend this game to almost everyone. Buy it. Play it. Love it. Thats all there is to it.
