This game is visually beautiful. The combat has really improved since the first game. I love that Ellie can jump, fit in small spaces, crawl, and rope swing. The mechanics in this game makes it feel so natural and real. I think the main reason for the negative reviews are because people are upset at the story. This is a post apocalyptic world, a pandemic, life isn’t going to be all fairy tales. Life sucks and bad things happen. I think how naughty dog set up the story makes sense as to why Ellie is doing what she’s doing. This game has brought me so much joy already and I hope that there is a chance for a 3rd game. The last of us is truly unique and executed amazingly.
