This movie, or more accurately, a South Korean nationalist propaganda film, is a fabrication of history aimed to stir up patriotic feelings. But if you are looking for a fantasy movie filled with CGI special effects and Korean bromance, this is just that. The character development seemed lengthy for some and hasty for others, but it could be because they were familiar folklore characters known to the Korean audience.
