Such a good read of a true story that needs to be told and retold. It shows no matter what your age you can still tell the story, even at 100 years old. A story of WW2, it’s horrors and survival over the decades that follow. A beautifully written book, that took me on a captivating journey as I read it. A sequel to the “Boy in Stripped Pyjamas”, which I read first, this novel “All the Broken Places” is thoroughly recommended as a highly interesting book to read

A tremendous book, written through the eyes of a 9 year old boy during WW2. Easy to read with concepts that a young boy would use. Dramatic in is simplicity and devastating in its outcome for Bruno and his family. Definitely a book to read and re read.

Time never ages this novel, as relevant today as it was when written in the early sixties. Beautifully written, and a highly recommended read

A life changing read, of a journey through life, following your dreams. The Pilgrimage was written before the Alchemist so you could commence with that novel. Very highly recommended read, captivating in its simplicity. Very highly recommended

A beautiful love story, told in a captivating fashion. I really like Otto and his ways. I read the book in 4 days and couldn’t put it down. Easy to read and recommended

Easy to read fabulous novel. Set in the time after WW1, it gives an interesting insight into post war Australia and the struggles society experienced. So beautifully written, in an unhurried pace. A very highly recommended book, that I think I will re read many times
