one of the best zombie movies ever, the cgi was incredible, the zombies looked and moved clean, and finally the plot was well crafted considering zombie movies dont hold well to that. the cinematography was beautiful with tons of very very cool shots wether of zombies or the city. the character development was intense with having people u dont like off the start that lead to saving the day later in the film. im not one to usually feel for characters but sadness genuinly built up near the ending. a solid watch

The main character, Sarah. Was so so so obnoxious it ruined the entire movie for me. Horrible decision after horrible decision after horrible decision, whilst being just annoying with bombarding everybody with pointless questions when there trying to focus, she just seemed like a bother to keep around and thought selfishly. CGI wasn’t to great but I think they made it work with addding camera shakes so it’s harder to notice the lower budget. A good concept executed by the minds of a middle school boy. Perhaps I wasn’t as intrigued as I should’ve been but I noticed many plot holes aswell. Like when Keven said the keys are in the main office… how would have have known that? Finally. Some found footages (this included) do this odd thing where the camera will focus on the wrong thing as if it’s not a first person POV. The amount of times something is happening ina direction and for no reason she just ain’t looking it was off..

Unfortunately one of the worst found footage films I’ve seen to date, the acting was god awful and the characters decisions were so bad any “intense” moment held no value. It was a bad movie but Trish’s character turned it into a worse movie. An incredibly annoying, unhelpful Disney stereotype of a little girl but in horror movie design, the plot idea was a very intriguing one so I’m saddened to say it did not reach expectations. Finally, there’s nothing wrong with low budget but this one made it obvious it was such .

Every single character was unlikeable. I mean where do I even begin. The main character the mother lady making that god awful decision to leave a complete stranger alone with her daughter. The father was a pos for being so inclined to solve this problem that he’d leave his wife and daughter in the same forest with said problem. The cops were passive aggressive and rude for litterally no reason? They only finally cared at the very end. They claim to have lived and understand the wilderness lifestyle and have been there for long, but the daughter gets a hold of a gun and starts play shooting it at trees like it’s a toy? Clearly not sombody who’d be used to holding one would do such thing. I do not blame the casting the actors did fine but the script was purely unfortunate.
