Ok so here’s my review of the live action Aladdin: I was very skeptical about seeing this movie, because I LOVE the original so much, just like almost every one else, lol. It also didn’t help that the pictures of Will Smith as the genie were questionable. BUT today my mom asked me if I wanted to see it with her and I was so curious, I had to. And surprisingly I loved it! It wasn’t a complete replica of the original, but I think that’s a good thing, they put there own twist on the movie wile still staying true to the original. And I think if they just completely copied it, it wouldn’t have matched up. The guy that played Aladdin was great. Jazmin was powerful and stunning. And Will Smith was actually a really good and funny genie( even if his genie look, took some getting used to lol) and I felt like he payed his tribute to Robbin Williams wonderfully! The singing and dancing was great! And it was visually beautiful! All and all I really enjoyed it!!
