As a more casual Star Wars fan, many of the shows created for the universe on Disney+ have failed to draw me in. However, The Acolyte easily captured my attention from the start. I know a lot of Star Wars realists and fans saw issues with the timeline, the force creating twins, and the “so called magic” involved with the witch coven. However, in such a vast universe and story, who is to say that these can all exist and not mess up the original stories. I greatly appreciated the new outlook of the Jedi that was presented in this show, it was a fresh of breath air as an audience member to not view the Jedi as purists that always save the galaxy. I know people are dropping one star reviews everywhere, but as with any Star Wars project it will be hated (toxic fans perhaps 🤔) and the next generation of fans will be the ones to actually appreciate this work of art.
Overall, this show was beautifully done, and the finale was fantastic!
