I must say, this k-drama really made me giggle and kick my feet alot 🤭 Their chemistry is so good, on- and off screen !! It's so incredible how the ml waited like 30 years for the fl, now that's real love there 🤍🤍 Even though this is a rom-com, there were some scenes I cried to huhu (╯︵╰,) This is definitely a must watch for people who are a fan of Jung Hae-In and Jung So-Min :)
Now I wanna talk about why I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5: The mom and ex were annoying as fuck (and maybe also the fl a little bit). I don't get how someone can be as emotionally unintelligent as the mom? Or maybe she doesn't have the brains to realise that her way of living a "better" life isn't necessarily the right path for her daughter. Like, her daughter came back to Korea and the first thing she does is nag at her? Tell her to pack her things and go back to the USA??🤨🤨 Also she didn't support her daughter's dream at first, saying that cooking should just be a hobby and not something for her daughter to pursue 😐 There wasn't a single episode where the mom redeemed herself, she was always annoying, ESPECIALLY when she thought that her (best) friend for 40 years thinks poorly of her. BITCH SHE ONLY OFFERED TO PAY FOR YOUR CRUISE TICKETS HUH?? I hate how narcissistic she is BRAAA 🤬🤬
And don't even get me started on the ex. He flew from america to korea just to beg the fl to get back together again AFTER HE GAVE HER SUCH EMOTIONAL DAMAGE?? It's the way he never gave up and kept insisting that they should marry again.. He popped up in random places and tried to talk her into it 🤢🤢🤢🤢 Fucking creep AND stalker behaviour. point blank period.
Anyway, the fl was okay.. She's really cute and all, but for the love of heavens, can she please learn how to communicate?! The amount of times she just left the conversation with the ml cause she can't handle SHITTT! Like, if I'm trying to talk about a problem with you, then you should hear me out and not walk away??
That's all. Overall it's a cute rom-com k-drama, I like it 🍥
