Highly toxic and regressive. I am amazed that the female actors are actually willing to play such overdressed, over made-up and over bejeweled characters, whose only aim in life is to get a husband and win his appreciation. And these are held up as role models!!! Besides that, many of the situations are totally unreal, and the script writer and director appear to have absolutely no clue of how rich families actually live and how businesses are run. Some of the dialogues and scenes in such contexts are ridiculously wide off the mark and laughable. These comments apply to all serials, not just this one. God help the Malayalam TV serial industry, if they can't think beyond such patriarchal and regressive stories most of which are adaptations of stories from other states and languages. Whatever happened to the Kerala that I knew which set the standard for original, eye-opening stories? Or is that only in the film industry?
