With a grounded story, beautiful cinematography, a triumphant score, and a brilliant portrayal of a new kind of Batman by Pattinson, this film did everything right. The Batman has been working the streets for about 2 years in the movie’s timeline, so he is still a rookie in many areas. He has not fully discovered what Batman is meant to be. Being a rookie however does not hinder him from beating down thugs and proving his worth as a detective, as he unfolds Riddlers twisted game (who strongly resembles the zodiac killer). I have seen so many complaints about the three hour run time, but personally I thought it was perfect. I understand why this movie might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I found it extremely entertaining, and I highly recommend.
