Luke Eboli

Don Jon is a captivating film about addiction and self forgiveness. When I began watching the film I assumed it would be similar to a film like Superbad, but I was pleasantly surprised by Jon’s quick growth as a character and the structure of the film itself. Don Jon very purposely builds a limited set where the same locations are shown over and over, this allows the viewer to notice that the real only changes in the film are the ones Jon is making as he matures and learns about himself and his addiction. Overall an excellent movie, 8/10
