I understand all the 5 star reviews. It's a great game. The gameplay is fun, with amazing graphics, a good story, strong character building, and more inventive platforming. BUT... this isn't a Ratchet and Clank game. It's a Rivet and Clank game. Rivet gets more levels than Ratchet, more game time per level mostly than Ratchet, all the arena battles, and the 3 big boss battles. None of the character development belongs to Ratchet. It's all Rivet, Clank, and Kit. And, of course, now the head writer has outed Rivet as a lesbian. *Sigh* Not everything needs to be part of the liberal agenda. We didn't need a Woke Ratchet and Clank game. We didn't need the main character to be shoved aside because he isn't female. If they wanted to introduce Rivet here and then create a Rivet and Kit game, I would have been here for it, but that's not what they did. This is a fun game, but it could have been completely amazing. Instead after waiting almost a decade for a new Ratchet game... I'm still waiting for a new one. 3.5
