The game at times is more frustrating than fun. First, the career races. The key is selecting the right bike. You can be on the easiest difficulty and struggle to win, requiring dozens of rewinds in the process. Change your bike and you win on the first attempt without a problem. Furthermore, some races don’t allow rewinds. One fall or a couple of non-perfect turns, it’s game over, start again. Next, Time attacks. Most of these will require many repeats to get the gold, and you can’t rewind. Track test requires you to ride through gates at complete the track within a time frame. Luckily you can rewind, but you don’t get the corner warnings. Overall, it’s a fun, challenging game with new tracks from around the world. I’ve played all the Ride games but the difficulty level in Ride 4 will keep you in reverse a lot.
