Unfrosted. It’s grrreat!! Funny. Nostalgic. Great cast. Wonderful surprise cameos. The film is never mean spirited. The jokes are written in a respectful manner. I never liked Pop Tarts, but I do like Unfrosted. I might have a second helping.

A feast for the eyes. Just give your brain the night off. Fun popcorn movie. Exciting action sequences. Great cast. Unexpected twists. Clever weaving of characters from the spy novel and the “real” characters. One aspect of the movie was very annoying. Thankfully it’s addressed during the movie. 20 mins could have been shaved as it felt a bit long.

The Kings have hit it out of the ballpark yet again. Creepy yet laced with their signature humor.

With a terrible 2020 and Broadway closed for several more months, I’ve been looking forward to this musical comedy. It met all my expectations. Uplifting. Fun. Poignant. A joy to see Meryl Streep and Nicole Kidman (especially after recently watching “The Undoing”) letting loose in a Musical/Comedy, as well as seeing James Cordon and Andrew Rannells’ exuberant performances that gave me goosebumps. Jo Ellen Perlman (who reminds me of a young Drew Barrymore) made me feel all the emotions that Emma experienced. Excitement. Anticipation. Embarrassment. Disappointment. Empowerment. Make it a double feature tonight. Watch “The Prom” and “Eurovision Song Contest” on Netlfix. We deserve a double dose of musicals to help put 2020 behind us.

The Popcorn movie is back. Stunning visual effects. No forced human storylines. Excellent pacing. Pure fun.
