As someone who deals with multiple illnesses featured on this show, watching this is extremely difficult. When this first came out, I admit, I was a bit skeptical when I watched it. Until I fell "mysteriously ill" and almost died multiple times. I was in the ICU twice. I was told I was mentally unwell and dealing with a mental breakdown, even though I had tests showing something was wrong. But regular doctors couldn't figure it out. After years of pushing testing and seeing dozens of doctors, I got diagnosed with multiple illnesses featured on this show. The amount of trauma these people go through, just trying to have people believe them, let alone TREAT them and help them is unimaginable. These are real people suffering from real illnesses. People who watch this and immediately dismiss these people are just falling for the propaganda dished out by Netflix and codling their own ignorance. The people featured in this documentary are harassed almost daily because Netflix couldn't make an unbiased "documentary." Insanely sad and awful.
Believe those who are suffering. We do not CHOOSE to suffer.
