First off, we all know why critics are trashing this movie...politics. Great movie, good acting. It is gritty, starts a little weak but strengthens with every minute. My wife watched it with me and her pulse monitor showed her pulse going above 100 bpm through most of the movie as it keeps you on the edge of your seat. The actors play their roles well and believably. The plot is realistic in which the bad guys plan and execute the shooting for social media “likes” in our narcissistic social media focused environment. It is great to see a movie about a topic so frequently politicized with little to no political agenda.

This was the sequel that was needed to close out the original Ghostbusters. A proper finish for Stanz, Venkman, Zeddmore, and Spengler. Unlike the 2016 slapstick three stooges type comedy....this one goes back to its roots. Serious plot with scary moments and laughs. It honored the legacy of what made the original great and had tons of easter eggs for the Ghostbuster fan while showing promise for a new generation of ghostbusters. Great movie and well made.
