The Byrde Family had a lot of blood on their hands. All the lying, cheating, and manipulation was overwhelming. I guess it was ok since they were doing it for the love of THEIR family. Screw everyone else they led to death. I wanted Ruth to survive and live a happier life after all the turmoil settled. I was disappointed that Marty and Wendy were still alive. Even worse, they turned their kids into murderers and criminals. The Byrde’s were NOT heroes. They are symbolic of typical Americans who worship greed, control, and zero accountability.

I watched this movie before reading the reviews. It definitely takes many unsuspecting twists and turns. I have been watching movies with Michael Ealy since Takers and know what to expect. Some of these reviewers are harsh and should give this movie more credibility. Celebrities are working hard just to give us entertainment and make a living. Every single movie will not be a masterpiece. I will watch this again with my wife!

My wife and I watched this together. We enjoyed it. Although most reviews are negative, we thoroughly appreciated the suspense of the movie. It was just a movie. Seems like the awful reviews come from white & black people who truly do not want to address racism in our country. In real life, all races do good and bad. Since Queen Latifah and Ludacris were the most known celebrities in this movie, maybe they are helping us to understand what “some,” (not all) have dealt with. White folks aren’t supposed to always be the hero's in movies. Bravo!
