Django Reinhardt

30mins in, so far I've turned it off twice, done the dishes and came back to it. I'm really not liking this modern mix of what real musicians consider musical history. The inauthentic recreation of sounds that were originally burned through tube guitar amps, drive and sheer passion in performance has been lost in digital editing and incredibly sour taste. It reminds me of that modern Beatles film that had some lad reinvent the songs as if they never happened. Very very poor cinematic attempts of true legends.
