I don’t understand why it is titled as the midwife murders. No midwife has been murdered in this book. I love most james paterson’s book, but this one is so painful to read (because it is awful) that i am compelled to write a review. Lucy is annoying and her inner dialogue is childish. I dont even understand why she is an integral part of the investigation. I have to skip to the end but even the end has is baffling and no proper resolution. You automatically know already who is the antagonist
